Francesco Papetti was born in Milan, Italy, in 1991. He graduated in Fine Arts from NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan and began his professional career as a photographer before relocating to Vancouver, Canada, in 2017.
Since moving to Vancouver, Papetti has expanded his artistic practice, exploring photography, digital media, and filmmaking. He has also directed a series of short films that have received awards in both Europe and Canada.
His multidisciplinary practice investigates the transformation of matter, the relationship between objects and their contexts, and the ways meaning is altered through processes of representation and interpretation.
