For collectors

Buying and payment

What is Fifi Art House?

Fifi Art House is an independent gallery, founded in 2025 in Vancouver. We present original works by a new generation of artists, selected individually by Fifi.

How do I buy an artwork?

Add the work to your cart and complete checkout. You do not need an account; you can also create one to see your orders later.

How can I pay?

We accept major credit and debit cards and the express payment options shown at checkout. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes. A confirmation with your receipt is emailed as soon as your order is placed. If you need a formal invoice, ask us and we will send one.

Authenticity and the artworks

Are the works original?

Yes. Every work is an original made by the artist. Limited editions are clearly marked with their edition number.

What is the certificate of authenticity?

Every original comes with a certificate of authenticity issued and signed by Fifi Art House. It records the artist, title, year, medium and dimensions, and only one certificate is issued for each work.

How do I learn more about an artist?

Each artwork page links to the artist's profile, with their biography and other available works. For anything else, ask us and we will find out from the artist.

Can I see more photographs of a work?

Yes. Ask us and we will send additional photographs, details or a short video of the work.

A work I like has sold. Can I have another one?

Original works are unique and cannot be repeated. We can show you the artist's other available works, or discuss a commission with the artist on your behalf.

Shipping and delivery

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within Canada. For delivery to another country, please contact us before ordering and we will look at the options with you.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery usually takes up to 7 business days, depending on the destination; within Vancouver, 2–7 business days. Collectors in Vancouver can also collect their work in person by appointment; please contact us in the chat or by email before ordering. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as it ships.

How much does shipping cost?

Collecting your order in person in downtown Vancouver is always free, by appointment.

Original artworks: delivery within the City of Vancouver is free on orders of $1,000 or more, and shipping anywhere in British Columbia is free on orders of $4,000 or more. For other orders, we email you the shipping cost after your order, calculated from your address and the size of the packed artwork.

Prints on paper and rolled canvas: shipping is calculated at checkout by Canada Post. Prints on stretched canvas: we email you the shipping cost after your order.

See our Shipping Policy for details.

How are works packed?

Every work is inspected before it leaves us. Paintings are wrapped in glassine, protected at the corners and shipped in a double-wall box; works on paper travel flat between rigid boards; rolled works travel in a rigid tube. Every shipment is insured for its full value.

Returns and damage

Can I return a work?

Yes, within 7 days of delivery. The work must come back in the condition in which it arrived, in its original packaging and with its certificate of authenticity. Return shipping is paid by the buyer unless we made an error. Commissioned works are final sale.

What if a work arrives damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the work and the packaging. We will arrange a repair, a replacement or a full refund.

Advice and services

Can you help me choose a work?

Yes. Tell us about your space, the size you have in mind, your budget and the feeling you would like the work to bring, and Fifi will suggest works personally. Write to us in the chat or at info@fifiarthouse.com.

Do you work with interior designers?

Yes. We offer interior designers personal sourcing, shortlists for each project, high-resolution images for client presentations and short reservations while a client decides. Write to info@fifiarthouse.com with details of your project.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes. We can help select original works for offices, hospitality spaces and corporate gifts. Contact us with a short description of your space or occasion.

For artists

Applying

How do I apply?

Complete the application form on our Artist Collaboration page, with three to five available works, their details and your suggested prices. Applying is free.

Which kinds of work do you accept?

Original physical works, including painting, works on paper, mixed media, printmaking, photography and sculpture. Whatever the medium, the final work must be a physical object that can be shipped.

Do I need formal art training?

No. We welcome self-taught artists as well as those with formal training. What matters is the work.

When will I hear back?

Fifi reviews every application personally and replies to every artist by email within four weeks.

Can I apply again if I am not selected?

Yes. You are welcome to apply again with new work.

Selection and agreement

How are artists selected?

Fifi looks for a distinct visual language, a consistent body of work and careful execution, as well as how the work sits alongside the artists we already present. We can only work with a limited number of artists at a time.

Will my works appear on the site as soon as I apply?

No. Works are published only after selection, a signed agreement and confirmation of each work's details and price.

Is there a written agreement?

Yes. Every selected artist signs a written agreement that sets out the rights and responsibilities of both sides, including exclusivity, pricing, commission and payment.

Can I sell my selected works elsewhere at the same time?

No. Selected works are offered exclusively through Fifi Art House for 12 months. Your other works remain free, and you may show the selected works on your own channels as available through Fifi Art House.

Pricing, sales and payment

How are prices set?

Fifi Art House sets the final retail price, taking your suggested price into account. You confirm the agreed price for each work in your agreement before it is published.

Where are my works kept?

In your studio, until they are sold. When a work sells, artists in Metro Vancouver bring it to Fifi Art House within two business days; artists elsewhere in Canada send it to us with a prepaid label. We inspect, pack and ship every work to its collector ourselves.

How will I know a work has sold, and when am I paid?

We let you know on the day an order is confirmed. You are paid after the buyer's return period has ended, as set out in your agreement, with a statement for each sale.

What happens if a buyer returns a work?

The sale is cancelled, the work is returned to you after we inspect it, and it goes back on sale for the rest of its exclusive period.
